We have no shortage of OnePlus 6T leaks, including the retail box that popped up a few weeks ago and gave out most of the design, but today alleged live images claim to offer an even better look. Alleged OnePlus 6T However, there are several red flags, which make us question their credibility. Firstly, the official teaser for the in-display fingerprint revealed a certain screenshot with a different layout. Of course, OnePlus could have changed the layout along the way, but the one showcased in these images look strikingly similar to the Oppo R17 Pro's. Oppo R17 Pro,...

It's not the first time Apple has charged a price premium for storage upgrades, but the 512GB option has been introduced just this year and costs $350 more than the lowest 64GB variant. Industry analysts claim that the price jump is unjustified and Apple is just looking to make extra revenue by charging its customers more than it should for the 256 and 512GB models. If you opt for the 512GB alteration, for example, you will be giving $134 more profit to the company compared to the 64GB choice. As Wayne Lam from IHS Markit says, storage upgrades are the most profitable feature as the...

Today, we've finally seen a major change since T-Mobile acquired MetroPCS way back in 2013. At the time, MetroPCS was a CDMA network whose bandwidth was slowly recommissioned to improve T-Mobile's own towers. The transition made it so Metro PCS customers were connected to T-Mobile's improved network but both T-Mobile and Metro PCS would remain separate brands. Today, T-Mobile announces that Metro PCS will now be called "Metro by T-Mobile". Along with this re-branding, Metro is updating its rate plans by replacing its tiered data plans with two main unlimited plans starting at $50 ($60 for...

Google loves renaming things over and over again, and today is a new example of that. The service previously known as Google Feed is now Google Discover. The company says the new moniker better reflects the service's mission, which is to help you uncover fresh and interesting content about things you care for. Discover can be found inside the Google app for Android, and in a special pane to the left of the leftmost home screen on Pixels, Android One devices, and Sony smartphones. It's also coming soon to the Google.com mobile website. New features are built in too, like the topic...

New reports of a Samsung Galaxy mid-range device have surfaced. The new devices, dubbed the Galaxy P30 and Galaxy P30+ (with a supposed model number of SM-G6200) will launch exclusively for the Chinese smartphone market. These rumors are still somewhat fresh - initial reports from @MMDDJ on Twitter claimed that they'd be the first Samsung devices to have in-display fingerprint scanners but newer rumors say these devices will boast LCD panels. It is generally known that the in-display fingerprint technology is incompatible with LCD panels. You should that not all the people like oled...

Google's hardware launch event is set to take place on October 9 where the search giant is expected to announce the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL alongside some other Google hardware. Today, two official-looking renders of the Pixel 3 XL have leaked from none other than @RolandQuandt on Twitter. This is the first time we've seen these official-looking renders, as well as the large "3" in the phones' default wallpapers. The mint-colored power key on the white model is the same thing we saw in the last Pixel 3 XL leak involving hi-res images of the notched phone. Pixel 3 XL and...

Unlike the Google Pixel 3 XL, the Mate 20 Pro hasn't been subject to so many leaks and early previews. With that said, this is the first time we're seeing full renders of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and although we can't confirm that these are 100% the real deal, we can check it against previous rumors. The renders are in three different finishes: Blue, Black, and Twilight. All color options have black bezels, as per the industry standard these days. Of course, the most attractive one is the Twilight, which looks more like the recently announced Morpho Aurora color for the P20 Pro that was...

According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo the Max is outselling the regular XS "three to four times". In a note Kuo said the 256 GB storage option is the most popular, while the 512 GB is consistently out of stock. Currently, only Samsung is shipping NAND Flash chips for the phones and some shortages are occurring.
